Colour Fastness Test

Vat Black 29(VAT grey BG) is generally black powder, insoluble in water, dark green in concentrated sulfuric acid, and dark green precipitate after dilution.

Mainly used for cotton fabric dyeing, suitable for suspension pad dyeing light gray and polyester/cotton blended fabric two bath process, a few used for cotton direct printing. Also applies to silk, viscose, cotton / viscose, Victoria / cotton blended fabric dyeing, mixed colors good.

Vat Black 29 Use condition:

1.Reduction of Vat Grey BG for jig dyeing and dyeing of cotton products, the most suitable b method, second law applies to the c. Dry cylinder reduction and full bath reduction can be used, reduction temperature 50 ~ 60 ℃ (b), 15 min enough time, stability time 40 min. As with dry cylinder reduction, also can be used at low temperature.

2.Reduction of cotton fiber of vat grey BG leuco affinity medium, good levelness, dyeing curve as shown in figure 4, 5-46. The dead cotton covered cover ability is poor. After dyeing with high temperature cook soap, soap and bath to make considered additions in sodium perborate can make normal light. Except for jig dyeing, dyeing cotton fabrics mainly used for suspension pad dyeing. Because of its resistance to chlorine bleaching, so it is suitable for color yarn dyed fabric.

3.After finishing with urea formaldehyde resin or cyanoformaldehyde resin, the printing and dyeing fabric of reduced BG gray color becomes slightly lighter and redder.

Precautions

1. The color fastness of VAT grey BG is slightly poor in mercerization, ironing and soaping. The washing fastness of domestic VAT grey BG is especially poor, with heavy mercerization and redness.The color turns slightly blue after soaping.

2.The reduced grey BG should be stored in a dry and ventilated place under seal.
