Sulphur Yellow 9 (sulphur yellow G) is also known as sulphurized yellow G, sulphide yellow, and the appearance is straw yellow powder. The dye strength is 100%, the shade is similar to the standard. The fineness (60 mesh residue) ≤ 5.0%, moisture ≤ 5.0%. Water, soluble in sodium sulfide solution, yellow. The dyed part is partially discolored in sodium hypochlorite solution, and it is dark orange in concentrated sulfuric acid.

Sulphur Yellow 9 Use condition:

1. Sulphur Yellow 9 is suitable for dyeing cotton, hemp, viscose and vinylon.

2. When dyeing vinylon, the color light is darker than dyed cotton red, the color depth is close to that of non-silk cotton, the color is dark red, and the levelness is slightly worse.

3. sulphur and tender yellow G color is bright and bright, and the fastness is good. It is mainly used to dye the color of grass green, beige and bright yellow, and the dyes which are often dyed with it have sulfide blue CV, sulfurized bright green and so on.

4. When the dye is dissolved, a higher concentration of sodium sulfide is needed. After dyeing, it is treated with sodium dichromate or copper sulfate acid solution, and the sun and wash fastness are improved, and the color light becomes red and dark.

Precautions

Sulphur Yellow 9 is very easy to absorb the moisture in the air and deliquesce agglomerates, resulting in oxidative deterioration, should be stored in a ventilated and dry place.
