Sulfur yellow GC is also known as sulfurized yellowish GC, vulcanized dark yellow 2G, and sulfurized yellow GCD. The dye strength is 250%, the appearance is yellow-brown powder, the shade is similar to the standard, the strength is 100% ± 3% of the standard, and the moisture is ≤ 5. Insoluble in water, mostly dissolved in concentrated sulfuric acid, yellow precipitate after dilution. The dyeing substance is yellow in sodium sulfide, almost completely discolored in sodium hypochlorite solution, and turned into dark orange in concentrated sulfuric acid.

Sulphur Yellow 2 Use condition:

1. Sulphur Yellow 2 (Sulfur Yellow GC) is suitable for dyeing cotton, hemp, viscose and vinylon.

2. The dye should be mixed with the dissolved high-concentration sodium sulfide, added to the dyeing bath, stirred and heated to make it fully reduced and dissolved. The amount of sodium sulfide should be slightly more when dyeing. Because of its slow oxidation, it needs to use perboric acid. Sodium solution treatment, if treated with sodium dichromate acid solution, it must be washed thoroughly, soaped, and washed after dyeing. Otherwise, the color will become lighter and the strength will decrease when ironing at high temperature, but it will not be dyed when dyed in light color. Significant.

3. It When dyeing vinyl fabric and cotton blend fabric, the color light is darker and darker than cotton, and the color is darker than cotton, and the leveling property is poor. The amount of oxidant after fabric dyeing is higher than that of cotton.

4. Sulphur Yellow 2 is mainly used for dyeing medium and dark colors, such as grass green, turmeric, yellow brown, dark brown, dark green, dark gray and so on.

5. Sintered yellow GC dyeing with copper sulfate, sodium dichromate and acetic acid can improve the light fastness, but its color is reddish.

Precautions

Sulphur Yellow 2 is very easy to absorb the moisture in the air, causing dehydration and agglomeration, oxidative deterioration, so it should be placed in a ventilated and dry place to prevent moisture and heat. Sulphur Yellow 2(Sulfur yellow GC) is a banned dye, can be replaced by sulphide yellow G.
